The app crashes more times than it succeeds. If I kept trying to connect, it would work eventually. I suppose that it works is the most important bit.

It would be great if the re-centering feature worked vertically as well as horizontally. The main advantage of watching stuff in a VR headset is that you can lay down. If I just wanted a big screen, I could put my laptop on my chest while in bed and use the capture card with that instead with much less hassle.

Hi. You can try the new feature of meta quest 2 updated in v53 called lying-down mode. 👇👇👇

If you've ever tried to lay in bed to watch a movie or hangout socially in VR, you'll know that it's a bit of a mixed bag. While it's been feasible to do in some apps, social apps like Horizon Worlds or VR Chat will almost certainly just show you laying down in VR.

Now, with the latest v53 update, Quest 2 and Quest Pro users can actually lay down on a couch, bed, or even on the floor and still look like they're standing up in virtual space. That's thanks to a new 'lying down mode' that can be enabled from the mobility section under accessibility settings. This new mode could also prove to be invaluable to folks who may not be able to stand up for play for long periods of time — or at all.

While you could also play games like Beat Saber in bed, you'll need to add modifiers to remove the walls, otherwise, it might be a bit difficult to dodge and duck under them while lying down.

v53 PTC is rolling out on Quest tonight which includes the "Lying Down Mode" option in accessibility settings, meaning there is absolutely nothing stopping you from playing Beat Saber while laying in bed :D

Lying down mode was disabled in v54, which is the most recent update. Also, I don't understand why you are mentioning the efficacy of playing Beat Saber lying down. My comments were for an app whose purpose is to use a Quest as an external monitor. My intention was to play console games lying down using a controller. A game where your are supposed to move your body is not terribly relevant to the discussion about the Huge Screen app

I have 3 type of devices which are Pico Neo 3, Pico 4, Meta Quest 2. In Pico Neo3/Pico 4's lying down mode, You can rotate the VR sence freely. For example, normally a screen is in front of you as your device is toward the front direction, when you lying down, the screen is on the top of you as your device is toward the top direction. So you can play PS/Xbox game on the bed. I'm not sure about the lyding down mode of meta quest 2. maybe I made a misunderstood with it.
