Shoot and slice your way through enemies across unique levels and scenarios in this homage to 80's action movies. The only way to move is to kill an enemy and grab their weapon out of mid air, taking their place: Strategy is just as important as reflexes, so killing enemies in a correct order will prevent you from being stranded.

Features 36+ unique weapons including blades, grenades, pistols, SMGs and shotguns.

There are currently 40 levels and counting, each presenting a unique combat scenario with different sets of goals. Some require you to assassinate a VIP, in others youll need to escape the room. Most levels have multiple different paths to victory, and enemies use randomized weapons so each playthrough will present a new challenge. Each level is designed to be difficult while you learn enemy patterns and positions, so keep playing to hone your skills and improve your score.

This is an early build so expect a few bugs and prototype geometry. Models, music and FX are mostly placeholder at the moment. Im hoping to get some feedback to better inform further development and see where this game should go. Please share your thoughts and suggestions for how to make this a better game!

I plan on adding as many new levels as I can come up with, so if you have any ideas, let me know! Additionally, Im hoping to create a procedurally generated Infinite mode for a rogue-like experience.

UPDATES:

v0.23 Adds a new level Tower, a tribute to one of my favorite episodes of Samurai Jack. The Level Select menu now has buttons to sort the levels by number, completion status, difficulty and length. A few bug fixes, some SFX improvements, model improvements and 2 new achievements.

v0.22 Adds a new level Gunship, along with two new heavy weapons. Youll need to take down an attack helicopter while moving through a warzone. 4 new achievements added. You can now "Perfect" levels by taking zero damage and getting 100% accuracy or better: this is indicated by a star instead of a checkmark on the level select menu.

v0.21 Small Update: Fixes the Silent Assassin achievement which was granted regardless of if you set off alarms. Adds 2 new Achievements. Haptics when grabbing weapons + sfx. Enemies have different animations when holding 2 Handed weapons.

v0.20 Adds Achievements with Oculus integration. There are currently 17 achievements and Ill be adding new ones in future updates. You may have already unlocked some of those achievements and they will be counted when you open the achievements menu (might have a notification blast). Added a new Heavy Revolver.

v0.19 Adding 3 new levels: Scope, White Death and Explosivo. New weapons added: Sniper Rifle and MGL. Scope has you moving across rooftops evading a sniper who will shoot you if you stand still for too long, so keep moving and take cover when you can. White Death puts you in a snipers nest in the midst of a snowy environment. Youll need to take out all the enemies while hunting for counter snipers. Explosivo is all about the Boom: sabotage 3 targets with the new MGL.

v0.18 Adding small tutorial explanation for bullet curving in Bullet Train and Unwanted. Knives stuck in your head can now be pulled out and used.

v0.17 Bug fixes for end of tutorial level including having the UI line stuck on controllers. Adding two new Mutators: Vamp and Bullet Time. New track Midnight Run by Mercury 82!

v0.16 New Mutators (Mods) added: Ricochet bullets, exploding armor and 1-hit-kill enemies add mayhem to the mix. 1-hit-kill player and No Aim Assist let you bump up the difficulty at your own pace. New Level "Carnival" lets you take a break from the action and enjoy some mini games. Quality of life improvements: Thumbsticks can now scroll through the level select menu and Height offset lets you set your height in 10cm increments to support seated mode.

v0.15 New levels added! "Gravity" has you falling down the center of a stairwell, shooting enemies on your way down. "The Plank" puts you in the midst of a pirate ship battle. Adding a Mods system to change up gameplay. They include immortality, infinite ammo, completely randomized weapons, no time limit and more. Changing some level materials and changing enemy armor color to red to help stand out against white walls. Fix for incorrect level conditions being shown.

v0.14 Small tweaks to level time limits to make things a bit less difficult. Spin held weapons with primary face button! Fix for weapons not being unlocked if youve already completed the level that unlocks them.

v0.13 Adding settings menu for some tweaking of options like music / sfx volume, gun angles, bloodless mode and some comfort settings. Adding some small progression systems where completing certain levels will unlock weapons in the practice range.

v0.12 Adding two new levels inspired by the film Wanted, along with two new special guns that have curvable bullets! Look at your target, swing the gun and pull the trigger to curve the bullets around obstacles. Some smaller fun tweaks including enemy hats flying off when you headshot them.

v0.11 Medium Update: Adding some awesome music from the album Ride On Space Cowboy by Lazy Laser. Each level now displays the currently playing song and artist. Added Dynamic Difficulty: Enabled by default, certain gameplay settings are automatically tuned based on consecutive level completes / level failures. Failing levels multiple times consecutively will slightly reduce difficulty by giving you extra health and reducing enemy attack speeds, while completing levels multiple times without failure will slightly increase difficulty. As your level wins / losses start to stabilize, the difficulty tuning steadies. Tuning the overall difficulty level to make enemy bullets slightly slower by default.

v0.10 Application is now signed so youll need to uninstall the previous version before installing this one. Finally built a proper model for the Whip weapon. Added game credits display in main menu. Music Update: Adding amazing tracks by Droid Bishop and Rogue VHS. Youll hear them in a few of my favorite levels.
