Yes that is true, BMBF does not come with Core Mods so do get it do work with mods you have to downgrade your Beat Saber to the latest version the works with BMBF: 1.17.1

I need help. I cannot download mods. There is a check mark next to every mod but no mods are installed :( Do you have any idea how to fix this? Very grateful for any help!
