This workout app is amazing! Hop on the exerboard and workout all over the world using Google street view images. Pick a location and follow your trainer to perform various movements in intervals. The motion of you body powers the exerboard to move you along. There are a big variety of exercises that target different muscles. This is a full-body workout! Arms, legs, core and cardio! You can see lots of stats above the trainer as you ride, like how long you’ve been going, how many miles you’ve gone, calories burned, etc. Some rides have checkpoints with facts about the location, and you can stop any time to take in the scenery. You can ride in 1st-person view or 3rd-person, which lets you see your own avatar in front of you. Customize your avatar and trainer with coins you collect as you ride. Slideshow mode is good for those who get motion sick. Instead of a continuous flow through the images, they just change every few seconds. You can listen to different ‘radio stations’ while you ride. I chose not to play any during my video for copyright reasons. I also like just the soothing nature sounds. There is a new Pinpoint feature that will drop you somewhere, you ride for 10 minutes, and then you have to place a pin on a map to guess where in the world you started the ride and get on the leaderboard. You can ride multiplayer with friends, and you can even connect to a smart bike if you want to do a traditional ride along the different routes! There are several fun mini games that also get you moving. I love Lotus Pond.
This app is subscription based at $99.99/year or $11.99/month, but you can also just buy a day pass for a few bucks or ride free for 10 minutes a day. At the time of posting this, subscriptions are on sale for 20% off!
I definitely recommend checking this out! You can do a free 7-day trial to decide which plan will be best for you.
