• This is an Alpha version of our upcoming game - nothing here is final! We just wanted to see what the reactions to this type of game will be 😀
• We are upgrading frequently, so make sure to have the latest version an hour before a race - if you have the wrong version you may not be able to start!

Backstory:

🏁In Megacity 13 racing is illegal as in every other megacity - but the rewards are high and YOU are good this - so when the call comes and the hologram markers for the new track is laid out - you are there with the other racers - the void opens up below and police is nearby - the race is on...🏁

Instructions (please read carefully as there are only a few instructions in-game):

• You can hear other players voices and use your voice to talk to others - so be polite and sportsmanlike!
• Tip: make sure to pick upgrades and speed boosts (green balls) to make the bike go faster and keep up with the leaders
• Being in other racers Slipstream allows you to go faster!

1. Title Scene: The first time you start the app, your only option is the tutorial, but once you've done it, it's optional. After that you can choose either Competition (recommended) or Training. If you at anytime want to leave and get back to the lobby, simply press the menu button(☰) on your left controller and press Y.
   • Training: Drive freely around the city.
   • Competition (recommended): 3 Tracks in fixed order
   • The right screen will show who has joined - press "Start" only when you want to close the room and start the race
   • Whenever somebody presses "Start", that "room" closes the competition starts with the current list of players (8 maximum). If you are alone you will race virtual players.
2. Race Scene (3 possible): When in Megacity 13, you need to press Y to tell the app that you are ready to race
   • Controllers
     • Press (Y) to tell the app that you are ready to race
     • You steer left and right by turning your entire body (so if you sit in a chair, it has to be a swivel chair)
     • Right index finger button is Accelerate/Thrust
     • Left index finger button is Decelerate/Brake
   • Race Tracks
     • Track 1: "Will Turner", 2 laps
     • Track 2: "Palm Square", 2 laps
     • Track 3: "Scenic Route", 2 laps
   • Checkpoints
     • Make sure you are looking in the right direction, towards the first checkpoint (it has yellow markings on it sides)!
     • Animated arrows should show you the way
     • Checkpoints are represented by frames
       • Light Blue markings on the sides of the frame means that it is inactive and is not the one you should pass next
       • Yellow markings: the next one
       • Green markings: a cleared checkpoint (make sure you hear the sound)
     • Green pickup balls with a wrench, are upgrades - you need to pick up at least 4 to be able to upgrade
     • Green pickup balls with arrow/s are speed boosts - there are three levels of speed increases
     • Tip: In a competition make sure to upgrade acceleration and speed, to be able to keep up with the others (we will balance this more)
3. Upgrade Scene: After a heat in the competition mode, you are able to upgrade if you have picked up 4 or more green balls (with a wrench) in the race.
   You can choose to:
   1. Upgrade Acceleration
   2. Upgrade Speed
   3. Ignore upgrade rotation for now - does not change anything at the moment
4. Finished Race Scene - shows the result
