Whirligig is a VR media player for the Oculus Go for playback and viewing of video files and images. It support a wide range of projection types, render paths and has many other features to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Just copy your media to your Oculus Go and use the in app explorer to find and playback videos or images. Currently Whirligig doesn't support network playback and media needs to be on your GOto be played.

I would like to add this feature in the future but currently don't know how. In fact if anyone out there could help me with this that would be great. I use Unity3D and the video playback plugins AVPro and UMP. My email is phileday@yahoo.co.uk

As Whirligig support 3 different video paths it is compatible with a wide range of video formats.

Image Support

​Whirligig works with most jpg and png files but works best when the image file resolution has a factor of 2.

Cinema/Flat Screen Whirligig support standard flat screen playback with additional options to curve, resize and set distance of the screen.
