Covered this game awhile back and realized that I never actually posted a review here.

Tavern Tales is Near and Dear to my heart, really the first of its kind for VR. In terms of actually being able to play dnd with your friends in VR its pretty amazing. The "start in a Tavern trope" really is brought to life in this game as you play mostly in a Tavern. The community in the discord is really strong and games are run almost daily, even if you are new to DnD there is always going to be friendly players and DM's that will be more than willing to take you under there wing.

The limits that people can push map creation are pretty amazing, I have even seen some maps people have made that are pretty much to human scale.

Only negative thing I could honestly say is that development does seem a little slow. Its completely understandable based off how small the studio is working on it. I would eventually like to see more miniatures and better functionality of the web browser feature in game.

If your into D&D and want to play in VR you cant really go wrong with Tavern Tales.
