Stellar Showdown is a DEMO of how an RTS card game similar to clash royale would be ported into VR. This demo shows of how UX design changes would need to be changed to make the gameplay of this port work(how cards would be placed, how to spectate and interact with compact, etc). This Demo also shows how writing performant code for the snapdragon XR2 chipset can enable up to 600 NPC to be able to fight in a more large scale RTS game. This Demo was used to learn performant programming patterns for game dev.

Gameplay Pitch

In Stellar Showdown, you will build a deck of cards as your squad of mercenaries for each encounter. Each card will have its strengths and weaknesses, making strategic placement vital. The goal is to use your limited resources and strategic card placement to overrun the other privateer’s space defenses to take over their ship.
