With PicoZDoom you can play classic Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Brutal Doom or Wolfenstein in glorious VR.

The included Launcher App makes downloading and combining mods easier than ever before!

PicoZDoom contains everything that you need to jump into action right now!

Note: All you need to play Brutal Doom is included!

How to install PicoZDoom (QuestZDoom for Pico)?

• Step 1: Setup Sidequest on your PC or mobile and open it.
  

• Step 2: Search for PicoZDoom and click "Sideload Now". Wait for sidequest to complete.
  

• Step 3: Go to unknown sources and open the QuestZDoom LAUNCHER.
  

• Step 4: The Launcher will hang on the first start. Force close it and start it again. (Don't worry if it closes again, it has created the necessary folders. Just start it again and it will work!)

Step 5: Download Freedoom + Brutal Doom + BD 3D VR weapons from the Launcher directly to your headset! Read on below for detailed instructions.

A lot of content is included for free download via the Launcher! Play Brutal Doom for free e.g.! Read the recommended section for instruction. Make sure you have Internet in order to download the content.

Mod recommendation: Brutal Doom! All you need is available in the launcher!

Experience the original Doom maps, but turned up to 11 and with lots of gore - even without owning Doom, just by using FreeDoom + Brutal Doom & mods.

Instructions:

1. Start the QuestZDoom Launcher app
2. Make sure you got internet connection, so the launcher can download the content!
3. Go through the tabs and download ALL these mods:

FreeDoom Phase1 + Maps of Chaos + Brutal Doom + 3D Weapons Brutal Doom + HD Textures Light + Sounds Remastered + IDKFA OST

4. Now select ALL these mods in the EXACT order as above and hit "Go to Hell" to start!

How to play original Doom engine games?

If you own original games (Doom, Doom 2, Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Strife) you can play those with PicoZDoom.

Transfer the WAD files to your Pico in questzdoom/wads.

Note: The Doom 1 & 2 files are included in Doom 3 BFG and Doom Eternal!
