Players start the game with a Materializer, a tool that can generate various objects to enhance the snake ecosystem. The trashcan provides a way to remove any unwanted items, allowing players to keep the game space organized and focused on desirable snakes.

Berries are essential for snake growth, giving players the means to increase their snakes' sizes. Ordinary berries grant standard growth, while rare golden berries offer a bonus tenfold growth boost, enabling rapid development of selected snakes and making them standout members of the collection.

Summoners hold the DNA of individual, procedurally generated snakes, each with a unique combination of face shape, skin texture, shine, and behavior. By summoning these snakes, players bring their traits to life, selecting and interacting with those that catch their interest while discarding others to make room for new possibilities.

For players who want to explore genetic combinations, combinators provide a powerful breeding mechanism. When two summoners are placed inside a combinator, it merges their attributes, creating a new summoner with combined and sometimes mutated traits. This process generates offspring that blend the colors, textures, face shapes, and behaviors of their parent snakes, allowing players to refine traits and breed a population that aligns with their vision.

A fifth object, the energy jar, introduces a scoring mechanic. As snakes move around and interact, they occasionally shed sparks of energy. These jars, outputted by the Materializer, magnetically collect the shed energy, boosting the player’s score and offering a rewarding layer to the gameplay.
