It’s been 5 years since Alyx released and in that time VR games have really evolved. Half Life Alyx may have set the bar for immersive gaming back in 2019, but in 2024 Batman Arkham Shadow raises that bar entirely. Things like the fully player body, the interactive cutscenes, and the implementation of motion controls, and a few smaller details as well, that all add up to make this one of the most immersive games I’ve ever played.
