I don't own a vr-ready pc, so i was in need of an virtual one since i bought my oculus quest 2. Since i live in Europe, there was only one other provider. I used that one for a long time and it worked for most games, but not so great for latency dependent stuff.
But Plutosphere got that figured out as well. I was testing BeatSabers, Half Life: Alyx, Boneworks, Subnautica and Arizona Sunshine with my usual steam vr setup with overlays etc - and was suprised how well BeatSabers could be played. Now integrated into my morning routine :D The other games worked as a charme as well, could go for eye candy depending on the game.
In Comparison to most streaming providers Plutosphere grants you access to a Full Windows Desktop environment. You can install anything you want!
For many users the just "pay the used hours" concept is most likely game-changing - if you only can treat yourself with vr-time that much paying for the time needed is great. - despite that, compared to shadow i would've to play more than 1 hour every single day to come close to their flat price model.
But for now you don't have to mind that; currently you can play for 2,5h/Day for free - probably as far as early access goes - there are some connection issues due to Desktop Vision sometimes(virtual desktop is a possible workaround), but the discord community and staff are eager to help; faq covers everything imo, but if anything out of the ordinary happens you can get help there (or help others).
I was really looking forward to Plutosphere, signed up for early access and everything - and i have to say i'm pleasantly surprised!
Thank you!
