What truly struck me about this game was the incredible sense of physicality (needed in mixed reality) and. It blurred the lines between reality and the virtual world, creating a bridge where the in-game experience felt interconnected with the physical world around me. For example, the ability of the bomber to collide with scanned walls and objects (I think it also affects health) due to the demanding flight controls. Seeing the effect of the missiles on the wall. Forcing the player not just to control the drone but to move around and relocate to make a better angle for action and spot the targets - All let to a very unified and dynamic MR experience. The virtual, me and the physical world around me are all taking part of the experience altogether. I felt like I had this responsibility of controlling the virtual drone in the real-world environment like it was real. This one reason why simulation games, especially those with high cause-and-effect consequences are so exciting to play in VR (you can go to extreme with zero consequences).
The game did suffer from several bugs as I mentioned in the video which hopefully be addressed. I have to say that I enjoyed it even more than Meta's 'First Encounters' game, and there are quite a few ways to make it even better. Like more unique enemy targets that spawn on various parts of the room, make like if a missile hits the wall, it can invite other enemies penetrating it from the outside, etc. Something that goes beyond the borders of the room, what Meta did in 'First Encounters'. And more manipulation of the physical environment in a create way can make the experience even better and the game feel more dynamic and have more effect on the real-world environment.
Overall, a must play, and considering the game is still in development, it has a potential to become a big hit with more needed creative updates and content.
