Absolutely fantastic game, so happy it is on App Lab now! I have already spent hours and hours making things in Discovery and I'm really excited to see what more I can do. Good graphics and smooth locomotion, definitely a 8/10 for me. One thing I do want to point out though, this game is creative mode only. There is no survival mode in this game like Minecraft. Nevertheless, it really does deliver and is very relaxing to play. It would be neat if the developers did make a survival mode at some point but I would be okay if they didn't. If I was to give any suggestions for this game they would be:
-More animals! It would be awesome to have more options and I'm loving the cute little creatures so far. Birds, fish, reptiles, bugs, cats, dogs ect. (Dinosaurs??!)
-Survival mode (as already mentioned) it would add a challenge to the game that would make it much more interesting but I can understand if the devs don't want to go the Minecraft direction.
-Weather changes. It would be neat to have rain, cloudy days, snow ect.
-A clearer sky. While I do like the sky in this game, it could be a lot clearer. The sunsets just hurt my eyes they are so orange, the starry nights are blurry and hard to look at. It would be nice to have a sky that was more beautiful to look at and admire.
-Different block widths. It would be helpful to have the option of having thinner blocks for building.
-More greenery options like vines or different colors or types of leaves. Different shrubs, flowers and trees.
-WATER. Why can't I make my own bodies of water? Why can't I delete existing water? I would love to see/build an ocean or lake where I can go swimming and maybe build an island on. I would love to make a waterfall or use the water as a mode of transport. Maybe a boat would be cool to have too!
- DΓ©cor & furniture such as potted plants, pictures, appliances, chairs, couches, beds, hanging lights.
-Please, please, please add a ladder item!! Stairs don't always work.
-I can't see my avatar's hands or body except in shadows or by stepping back into third person mode. Maybe you could add the hands instead of the oculus controllers to make it more immersive.
That's about it. I truly love this game and I cannot WAIT to see where it goes from here. Thank you to the developers for this gem!
