Hey! very fair review, thanks. I think you nailed it, SPA is a big ambitious game and the scale is a little bit too big for a solo dev like me. Admittedly, my other project (Custom Home Mapper) has really taken over the last two years of my dev time. I'm very aware of those planetary bugs you're talking about... and there's a few fixes in the works. Do you play Andross (white ships, 6dof?) Its the best flight experience but there's a few extra bugs with them. Beyond that.... trade missions, mining asteroids for minerals, bounty hunters, building a 'crew' of ships that you recruit and fly along with you.. there's a lot of neat potentials that i've been toying around with that haven't made it into a public release. I'll dive back in, cheers for the push.

Hey! I hope my review was in no way disparaging. Despite my own critiques as an average gamer (and somewhat new to VR), I still understand SPA is a work in progress. I'm getting lots of enjoyment from it! It's exactly the type of game I'd want to make if I was a developer.

I'm not too savvy with the names of the races, but Isiah usually I jump into Galactic warfare mode and I believe the only one available currently is the blue race.

I will definitely try what you are referring to, and I do need to play around with more options in general just to see everything the name has to offer.

I totally get how time consuming it can be as a lone developer to juggle such an ambitious project along with others.

Definitely looking forward to updates whenever they come around. I'm very patient!

Keep up the great work, you have a fantastic game here and I'd go as far as saying there's nothing quite like it on the Quest platform!

Hey, do the campaign for Andross (white ships). Isn't too hard, 5 stages , might take 30mins. You'll be able to play Galaxy war with that race afterwards, left thumbstick add force up/down, right thumbstick adds force forward, backward, left or right (relative to your ship) You just drift in any direction, more like true zero-g spaceflight. one of the buttons on right controller is the 'brakes'

I've been wondering about unlocking more of these ships right from the start. Orange is teleportation-based, yellow is fast, green is heavier weaponry/long boost, red is similar to blue (default) except it has a 'cloaking' feature that is currently broken :/

have fun out there!
