This is a very early alpha build of a game I plan to work on for quite a while. My goal is to make an expansive magic system with a bunch of interconnected parts, ranging from necromancy used to talk to old scholars and gain ancient spells from. To also mixing potions with ingredients grown within your own base. Will I make it to the end soon? Sadly no, but I am stubborn enough to keep going.
What does the game have in it's current state:
- 9 functioning spells and 1 not so functioning spell. I tried to make each somewhat different than the others so that I could get a good variety. The final goal is something around 120 spells, I know, I'm crazy.
- A custom made spell system. This is obvious as almost everything was made by me, but I wanted to list more things to make this seem impressive :)
- Enemies for you to experiment on/beat up. I am bad at modeling so what they are is not going to be what you expect, and the voice lines were so graciously provided by my friends/testers.
- A simple puzzle system with 10 puzzles. Again, my plan is to make it so every type of magic has a set of puzzles associated with it's theme. Currently the only ones I have setup are the constellation puzzles that will be redone in the next update.
- A little playground. I wanted somewhere to test out the spells as I made them, so I added the most fun thing ever. BOXES.
I am always looking for feedback or suggestions on anything you might have relating to the current game or its future development. this has been my passion project for about the past 3 years, with full-on development starting this most recent one, so I am always looking to improve.
