I'm trying to not give too many 5 star reviews on SideQuest but Eolia definitely deserves it. This game is has the most innovative use of hand tracking I've ever seen. For example, you can ride a large creature around the sand dunes by doing and up down motion with your arms-- similar to riding a horse in real life. However, you do all of this with hand tracking! It's a must experience game just for the hand tracking capabilities alone.
Eolia also looks like a movie. The environment and the cut scenes look like they were made for a movie like Avatar. It's incredible refreshing when a lot of VR games have the same look. There's a lot of creativity in Eolia. The puzzles are also unique and fun. If you've read my other reviews, I love puzzle games. This engaged my brain in new ways, which I appreciated. The one con I have to say is that the graphics aren't quite as refined on Quest 2 as other recently released huge titles, such as Red Matter 2 or Bonelab, but few VR games live up to those level of graphic quality.
