Here is Hitstream, a exercise game, which I have been creating in my [very limited] spare time, starting in Feb 2020. This is my first VR game and first creation in Unity. I've been learning to code as I go along. The graphics and gameplay are subject to change as I continue to develop the ideas, so some of the screenshots and videos may not be the same as the version here.
This game features:
- Full 360' body rotation
- Breathtaking outdoor backdrops from around the world
- Choreographed movements to hand-selected music tracks
I play other games of this type, and wanted to take advantage of the Quest's untethered nature; by moving in full 360 degree's, it means you have to move your legs as well as arms. I also wanted to create something which featured the outdoors; given most games of this type feel 'enclosed'.
Initially developed for the Quest, but I hope to be able to release on other VR platforms as I get further into the project.
